WrapidBond® is a wraparound corrosion protection system, consisting of a reinforced, visco-elastic coating applied to a flexible PE carrier backing. With non-crystalline, low viscosity, and amorphous coatings, WrapidBond® offers both elastic (stretch) and viscous (flowable) properties. It is easier to apply, requiring no pre-heating, primer, or minimal equipment. The faster installation process results in quicker backfilling. Additionally, its self-healing feature ensures no holidays and 0mm cathodic disbondment, making it a reliable solution for oil, gas, and water pipelines.
Suitable for trench applications and below-ground installations, WrapidBond® can be applied over existing coatings. Applicators are easily trained, and the process does not require constant monitoring. ISO-21809-3 tested and compliant, WrapidBond® is proven to deliver 0mm cathodic disbondment using our standard installation procedures.
